Hello. I am Angela Gale and it is my pleasure to introduce you to Artisan Art Supplies and Craft Works where you cannot fail to be impressed by the range of art and craft materials designed to get the beginner started or provide the expert with the tools required to further his artistic endeavour. We stock a full range of Daley – Rowney oils, acrylics and watercolours in addition to all the craft materials you could possibly want.
Open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9.30am, Artisan closes at 5.30pm (5.00pm on Saturday) and apart from the artists materials available one of our highlights is the range of Workshops where, for just £10.00, refreshments are provided, you can join a small group where the maximum number is six, to learn such arts as stamping and embossing, card craft, bead and jewellery making, painting and drawing, Christmas cards and gifts and children’s crafts. New suggestions are always welcome as are new participants to these very enjoyable and rewarding Workshops.
Having covered the main functions at Artisan, allow me to tell you a little about what else you might expect here. Classic embroidery and needlework kits ranging in theme from the exotic FarEast to Disney characters and scenes and maps more local to Todmorden, gifts, embellishments,hand made cards, fabrics, beads, candles, water colour and oil paintings plus the hugely popular and ever changing stock of works from local artists.
At Artisan we cater for virtuallyeveryone, the artistic beginner keen for advice on how to start in his chosen field, the expert needing to stock up on paints and materials, and who knows that the range available here far exceeds what can be found in many a larger town elsewhere, or indeed the equally welcome non-artistic customer in search of something unusual and individual to either decorate their house or form that special but often inexpensive gift.
